PETER RUSSELL MCLEAN
With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing, of Peter Russell McLean, aged 84, beloved husband of Janet McLean (Funston).
He is also survived by his brother Ernie (Lucette); his daughter Jennifer (William) Nesfield; his son Jeffrey (Jennifer Lomonaco) and stepson Geoffrey Funston. Predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Jean McLean, a brother Tommy and his sister Margaret Ducasse. He will be missed by his loving grandchildren, Colleen, Jack, Mason, Isaac, and Avery; niece Stephanie (Ava) and nephew Patrick DuCasse.
After serving in both the Canadian Air Force and the Navy, Peter started his own successful communications company, Protek Electonics and enjoyed his position as the President of the Winnipeg Metro Club. In 1988 he moved to Long Island, New York, and embarked on a new venture company, Ring Communications, from which he retired in 2015.
A Celebration of Life in his memory, was held on Saturday, March 2 in Smithtown, New York.
