Passed on February 2, 2024, at Winnipeg, at age 90.
Anne was beloved mother to Julia (Justin Abel) of Whistler and Morag (Peter Graham) of Winnipeg; dear Nana to Ewan; sister to Barbara (Fox) and aunt to Nicola (Claude Letizia) of Perth, Australia. Anne was predeceased by her husband Strathearn; cherished daughter Sheena ("Smiley"); parents, Madge and Dr. Burton Yuill; brother David and nephews, Graham and Roger.
Born in Belleoram, Newfoundland, Anne grew up in England. In 1955, she returned with family to Ottawa where she worked as a x-ray technician. After marriage in 1959, she resided in Ontario (Toronto, King City, Blue Mountains); Anne relocated to Winnipeg, Manitoba in late 2023.
Anne was a nature-loving gardener, creative, artistic flower arranger, active community member and multi-year, multi-discipline Special Olympics volunteer driver, coach, costumer and host.
