With deep sorrow and much love, we, his family and friends, mourn the passing of Lance Conrad John Mastaler on April 11, 2024, at the age of 53. He was born in Winnipeg on January 12, 1971.
Lance will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lucy, children, Savanna and Ethan, mother Linda Ouellet, father Gerry Mastaler (Sally), brother Guy Anthony Mastaler (Nicole) and nieces, Madison and Ava.
Having studied Solidworks 3D CAD Parametric Mechanical Design at Javelin Engineering, Internal ISO Auditor at Penguin Group (USA) and Manitoba Aerospace Project Management in Winnipeg, Lance worked as a Mechanical Estimator at Nordstrong Equipment and later was self-employed as a voice-over talent and actor at Lance Mastaler-Voices and OutstandingRadio.
Lance will be remembered for his caring nature, sense of humour and easy connection with people from all walks of life, as well as for his impersonations of famous actors. He was an amazing cook and loved to surprise his family and friends with fondues and gourmet meals.
Playing his drums brought joy and music to Lance's soul. Backyard bonfires and camping were activities of special pleasure for him, as was his involvement in raising funds for charities.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway #1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, with viewing beginning a half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Green Acres Cemetery. Those wishing to join the service by live-stream may do so at www.greenacresfuneralhome.com.
May Lance's favourite saying bring comfort to his family and friends alike: "Just wanting to make someone's tomorrow better than it was today!"
