With great heartache we announce the passing our beloved Denise April Hobson on April 22, 2024 at the age of 19 years.
Denise will be deeply missed by her loving family, mother Geraldine Courchene, father Dennis Baliukas, siblings Sayora, Seth, Justice (David), Freedom, Jerilynn, Kadence, Quintin, Dennis Jr., Kloe and River, grandmothers Audrey (Russell) and Diane. She was predeceased by her grandfather Jerry, uncles David and J.J., papas Brad and Robert, great-grandparents Freda and Purvis, great aunt Cynthia, cousins Joseph, Angel, Sonja and Jeremy.
Wake will be held at the 36 Wolves Street, Sagkeeng First Nation from April 29 to 30, 2024. Funeral service will at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.

We are all at a loss for words, and I know no words would do justice to describe our sympathies anyway. I pray for you Geraldine and Aunty Diane, your children and all.of the family during this heartbreaking time. We all love you and will support you. Denise was a beautiful young woman who we will miss so much. I will always remember as a little precocious girl who was always coming up to me to tell me all of the latest gossip.
