LAWRENCE BERTRAM BUTLER


Larry Butler, born on December 6, 1943, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Larry was a man full of life, known for his huge personality and infectious enthusiasm.



Larry is survived by his devoted wife, Constance; sons, Clint (Jaimie) and Curtis, sister Dianne (Brand), nieces Colleen (Curtis), Jessica (Troy), Krista (Andrew), Alissa (Aaron) and Brittany (Chris), nephew Brendan and all the great-nieces and nephews. He was a cherished husband, father, and friend, leaving behind many fond memories for all who knew him.



Larry was an accomplished field trial gunner of the English Springer Spaniel Club of Manitoba and an enthusiast of the sporting clay community. Larry found great joy in fishing and spending time on the lake in his beloved pontoon boat. His cabin in Sioux Narrows, Ontario, was his sanctuary, a place where he created countless memories with family and friends. He was an active member of the men's club at the lake and discovered a new passion for pickleball later in life.



Larry's vibrant spirit and love for the outdoors will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His legacy of warmth, humour, and boundless energy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.



A celebration of Larry's life will be held at the East St. Paul Arena located at 266 Hoddinott Road, East St. Paul on May 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
