Doris died peacefully at Riverview Health Centre after an illness.
She was predeceased by her dear husband George to whom she was married for 60 years. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law Dan Shebaylo and great-grandson Adrian Allard. She is survived by six children, Ron (Valerie), Leigh (Shelley), Terry (Jill), Michelle, Brenda, and Remi (Pina) and by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Doris was small but strong and determined and loved to laugh. She was employed for 33 years by the Manitoba Amateur Hockey Association as office manager and bookkeeper. She was passionate about amateur hockey and contributed in many ways. Doris loved arts and crafts, playing board games and dice with her family, and reading.
Doris will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview who were all very kind and caring. In lieu of flowers, donations could be sent to Riverview Health Centre Foundation.
