• We had the pleasure of meeting Cheryl on her trips to Whitby, Ontario. As a neighbour of Daniel and Nena I had the opportunity to get to know Cheryl if only briefly. I remember those early morning coffees on the porch, conversations about her business and life in Winnipeg. She was feisty and had a zest for life. What a fighter! I only wish I could’ve gotten to spend more time with her. She must’ve done something right. There are 3 wonderful young men who she was fiercely proud of - and rightfully so! A couple of years ago she got herself a Cockapoo she named Henry. While Cheryl focused on her health the boys looked for a new home for Henry. Dan and Nena wanted to keep Henry close. Well Henry found a second Mom in me. I can remember the day Nena and I picked him up at the airport. This tiny shivering puppy! He took to us immediately. Yes, it was ❤️ at first sight. We think of Cheryl often and so thankful and grateful that she has entrusted Henry in our care! • Cheryl popped into my life at exactly the right time and added such joy. There’s really no way to explain how much she meant to me. Her witty sense of humour and her good advice are gifts that I will treasure forever. I am so thankful for her.
