With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Evelyn Anna (Dennis) Turner, aged 92, who peacefully departed on June 6, 2024.
Evelyn, fondly known as Ev, will be deeply cherished by her son Jeff Turner (Dianne), daughters, Marlene Itzke (John) and Lorna Smith (Don), as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Owen, to whom she was married for 67 years, and their young daughter Karen Lynn Turner.
Ev will be remembered for the joy she found in tending to her backyard garden and enjoying the company of various wild critters. She will also be remembered for her generous spirit and active participation in community organizations. Mom, you will always be with us.

I felt so blessed to have met and made the friendship of Ev while recovering from surgery at Deer Lodge Hospital. She was a wonderful roommate for me. I enjoyed her wit and warmth with the many chats that we had. My younger sister whose name was also Evelyn passed away shortly before my surgery leaving me heartbroken. Ev's consoling presence and kindness comforted me. She was a precious soul who will be dearly missed.
