Aurele passed away peacefully at the age of 85, on June 6, 2024, after a long battle with stroke and cancer. He fought the brave fight to the end.
Forever an optimist, he always chose to see the positive side of things. His favourite saying was “MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!”. Aurele was a kind, caring, thoughtful, honest, and generous man, always thinking of his family and friends. He was the consummate host and loved to entertain and have parties. He loved to motivate people to better themselves and helped many have very successful careers in his over 50 years in the Insurance business. He definitely left his mark in his time with us on this earth and will be dearly missed by many who loved him.
Aurele is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Louise Agnes Lord; and sons, Roger Campeau (Alex Carrillo) and Richard Campeau (Joti Samra); as well as many extended family members and friends. We’ll miss you, Dad! Family and friends are encouraged to honour Aurele, each in their own way.
No formal service will be held.
