Rebecca Mary-Ruth Maser, age 63, passed away May 5 at 12:59 a.m. at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, SK.
Rebecca was born in Winnipeg at Health Sciences Centre on January 26, 1961, to Grace Olive Sanderson and Ernst Hans Maser.
Rebecca loved children. She was well educated in early childhood education and worked with children. She taught children in the deaf community, children with special needs and autism. Rebecca was fluent in sign language and taught in the deaf community for many years in her earlier years.
Rebecca moved to Saskatchewan in 2004 to be with her children: Tony Feliciano Maser, age 37, (Liberal Melo) and Tara Grace Maser, age 31, (James Victor Pedwysocki).
Rebecca leaves behind her children, her sisters, Elva Mildred Sinclair (Earl Sinclair) and Sarah Esther Miller (Jeff Miller) and Florence Sandra Sanderson; many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and many friends whom she loved dearly.
Rebecca will be sadly missed.
There was a feast held in her honour on May 31 in Saskatchewan. A private family service will be held at a later date.
