Hello! My name is Ellen Manney and I live in Toronto. My husband bought a purse for me made by Agnes, maybe at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. He is a musician who has played there lots of times. I use my purse every day and have been for maybe 5 years. I have kept her card on my desk and I was just cleaning up and found it again and I discover that I am too late to tell her how much I enjoy using my purse and how many compliments I get very often. I googled her name to see if she had a website and I was going to write to her and that is when I found that she had passed. I am so sorry. Your mom was such a talented woman! Many thanks Agnes, for bringing me pleasure every day!!! I feel like I am connected to you because of my beautiful purse. Ellen. - Posted by: Ellen Manney (customer) on: Dec 13, 2024

Although we did not know Agnes, Carole related many stories of her mother and what they did together. She sounded like a very special woman. This world was blessed by God to have her in it. Our condolences to Carole and her family. May His strength and peace surround you all as you walk through your grief and loss. - Posted by: Cyndi Croll (Friend of Carole) on: Jul 06, 2024

I worked with Agnes for many years in Pinawa. She was very generous with her talents and she taught me how to bead and make mitts and mukluks and together we taught several courses for the people in our town. She was extremely talented and could create almost anything in fabric and leather. My deepest sympathy to her family on their loss. - Posted by: Tanya Cutting (Friend) on: Jun 22, 2024
