Lori Anne Fehr was born in Altona on June 8, 1969, and passed away on June 10, 2024, at the Boundary Trails Health Centre in Winkler after a two-year struggle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Jake; her four children, Leanna (Travis), Nathan, Daniel (Faith), and Lincoln (Kristen); her grandchildren, Lily, Reuben, Elsie, and Clementine; her mother, Helen; father, Jake; brother, Glenn (Lisa); and sister, Julie (Matthew).
Lori's birthday was always that time of year when the tall, majestic cottonwood trees began to let their seeds free to be blown by the wind across the prairie landscape she called home. Her life was like one of those trees, sowing seeds of blessing in the places she was planted. She wanted to give glory to God and His Word through serving her family and those near to her, and to share love, kindness, and the good news of the Gospel with all those she met. One of the last notes she left read, "God is always worthy of our praise, no matter what we are going through." The many seeds she has sown have had a lasting impact in those lives she has touched and will not be forgotten.
