ELINOR ISABEL SKLAR
In memory of Elinor Isabel Sklar, who passed away on June 29, 2020.
Elinor was at her happiest surrounded by those she loved; her loving husband of 62 years, Dave, her three children, her six beautiful granddaughters, and many, many friends that spanned generations — she was Granny to everyone. Granny was proud and excited about all achievements, no matter how big or small. She taught us to appreciate everything as it comes and to celebrate the little moments in life. She taught us to see the beauty in all things, cherish every moment, to have the courage to say no if you want, to embrace life, to celebrate the beauty of our world, to leave things a bit better than when you found them, and to always be kind. We feel her presence and hear her laughter each summer when we gather by the lake.
Her spirit lives on in our hearts and in the beauty of Big Whiteshell Lake, a place where we shared so many lovely memories.
We miss you so much Granny – lots of love
