It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, Lilian Dowbenko, on June 26, 2024, at the age of 103.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Children’s Wish Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave.

She was always Auntie Lillian to me even though not by blood and she was a presence in my life growing up. I remember walking with my Mom to see her at work and she would give me delicious cider to drink. She was my Mom’s (Myrtle Wozniak) dearest friend for many many years. We took them both to the zoo the summer before my Mom passed away (2009). I was happy they could spend the day together.
