It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Hank Vandenbrink. Born and raised in the Netherlands, Hank moved to Canada at the age of 19. Here he built a legacy marked by love, family, and an unwavering devotion to a life of faith.
Hank was a jeweler and watchmaker. More importantly, however, Hank was a devoted pastor and Bible teacher, always eager to share his deep faith and wisdom to those around him. His guidance and spiritual leadership were sources of inspiration and comfort to many.
At the age of 83, on the day of his 54th wedding anniversary, Hank was summoned home to join his Heavenly Father in the kingdom of heaven. He is survived by his devoted wife, Frieda, and his four cherished children: Ariane, Jacinda, Jason, and Corene. His memory also lives on in the hearts of his numerous grandchildren, who will forever hold dear the love of their Opa.
The family also wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Calvary Place, who provided exceptional care and support to Hank over the past seven years.
Hank Vandenbrink's life was a testament to the power of faith, love, and family. Though he has left this world, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A private celebration of life service will be held for family and close friends.

I was so sad to hear of Hank's passing. He was one of the only young people in our small church and was an inspiration to me. He stood as a groomsman at our wedding in 1966, He was also our jeweler of choice but we were not frequent customers. He was a frequent guest in my parents home and they loved him dearly.
