I worked with Ron for many years in the Compressor Building at Inco/Vale. Enjoyed working with him. He was a concensus worker, reliable worker. Liked by all. Him and I retired the same day from work. Viewed with envy his plates of cooking delicious looking food he shared on facebook. He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Goodby old friend. - Posted by: Norman Allen (Co worker at Inco/Vale) on: Aug 11, 2024

So sorry to hear about Ron, he was a great neighbour in Thompson. He was new to home ownership and yard maintenance when he moved in. Watched me fertilize our grass, and figured he should do that too. Lent him my spreader, and when I came home it looked like it had snowed on his lawn! Think I probably hadn’t told him to control the flow rate. But he had a great lawn after that. He was also the good neighbour who had our water tank replaced when we were away on holiday and he was looking after the house. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Diane & Pat O’Callaghan (Neighbour) on: Aug 10, 2024
