Gaylene Christina Carpenter (Holunga), 56, of Steinbach, Manitoba passed away suddenly on August 16, 2024.
She is survived by her mother Brenda Holunga and father Terry Holunga, her beloved spouse Shane, her children: Magdalena, Christopher (Kimberly), Krysten, Ashley (Morgan), her grandchildren: Madison, Serena, Jordan, Kayla, Angelika, Emma, Marcus, Noah. She will also be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Billy, Demetrios (Brandy), Theodore, Phil (Laura), Mike, Rob, Will, Brian (Billie), and her sister Lynn (Doug), along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Bill Campbell, and her spouse Steven Stanick.
Memorial service for the departed will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 with a start time of 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Romanian Orthodox Church located at 103 Furby Street, Winnipeg, MB. Service and viewing for family and friends will be held on August 28, 2024 with a 2:00 p.m. start for the service. There will be dainties and coffee to follow at Birchwood Funeral Chapel located at 162 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach, MB.
