Tony Brakus passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the St. Boniface Hospital.
Tony was born on June 10, 1953, in Winnipeg and was predeceased in death by his parents, Milan and Anna Brakus (née Lambiase) and his brother Carmen of Winnipeg. Tony is survived by his brother Al and his niece Tina Brakus of Winnipeg .
Tony grew up in Winnipeg and worked hard all his life at many professions, but his first love was music, with many of his songs on You Tube. Tony will be dearly missed by family, friends, Frank, Rick, Alfie, Douglas and other friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church (510 River Avenue, Winnipeg, MB) on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Burial Ceremony at Glen Eden Cemetery (4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB) at 12:30 p.m.
