Unexpectedly, yet peacefully, Ilse Frank (nee Sperber) passed away in Winnipeg, MB on September 1, 2024 at age 84.
Ilse was predeceased by her parents, Else and Helmut; sister-in-laws, Gisela and Janet; in-laws, Anna and Joseph; sisters, Susi (Nicki), and Gusti (Karl) and brother-in-law Heinz.
She will be missed by her loving husband Horst; children, Monika (Rob), Anita (Paul), Peter (Tracy) and Krista (Fern), and her 11 grandchildren, (Herzele’s) Erich, Stefan, Kerstin, Jordan, Tyler, Maya, Kiera, Destin, Emmett, Sophia and Andreas. Ilse leaves behind her brothers, Heinz and Harry and numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Ilse was born in Kutno, Poland on Aug 4, 1940 and immigrated to Winnipeg, MB in 1952. In 1958, Ilse met Horst, the love of her life and they were married in 1960. In May 2024, Ilse and Horst recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary.
Please join Ilse's Family to celebrate her life on October 18, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB, officiated by Pastor Bjoern Meinhardt. Internment and light refreshments to follow.

If friends so desire, please consider donating to one of the following organization's that were close to Ilse's heart: Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, SOS Children's Village, Siloam Mission, Save the Children, Manitoba Alzheimer Association and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
