Surrounded by family, Joseph Robert Neduzak, 94, passed away on September 26, 2024, at Tabor Home. Joe was originally from Beausejour, Manitoba but at his time of passing he resided in Morden.
Joe is survived by his wife Violet, daughter Gail (Tom) Koroluk, son Brad (Janet) Neduzak, grandchildren, Kyle Whitehead, Ashley Whitehead, Brett (Courtney) Koroluk, Jordan (Cassey) Neduzak, Natalie (Scott) Thomas, Megan (Michael) Wirth, and great-grandchildren, Nina Koroluk and Caden Thomas. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Mary Neduzak, brother John (Violet) Neduzak, sister Jean (Steve) Jurewicz, and daughter Sandra Whitehead.
Joe was born in Hazelglen, Manitoba on April 15, 1930, and was raised on the family farm. He met his future wife, Violet at a community dance, and they were married on October 14, 1950. This year, they would have celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary. Together, they ran the family farm for 52 years. During that time, Joe also worked for the Department of Highways in Steinbach for 25 years, retiring in 1987. His job provided the opportunity to travel throughout southeastern Manitoba, allowing him to meet and talk with many people, which he so much enjoyed. He always was interested in hearing their life stories and learning as much as he could about them and their families. Our family often joked that if someone stopped by the farm to ask for directions, dad would invite them in for supper, just to talk and get to know them better.
Joe and Violet loved to travel, taking many trips in their motorhome across Canada and the United States with family or friends. They enjoyed winter vacations, travelling to Hawaii and various locations in Mexico. A trip to Europe was a highlight of their travels.
Family was always dad’s greatest joy and priority. There was never a day that he wouldn’t ask, “how’s the family”. He took a keen interest in everything his children and grandchildren were doing and was so proud to always share their achievements with others. Watching his children and grandchildren participate in music and sports, provided him years of wonderful memories. Phone calls, visits, and facetime chats, always put a smile on his face.
As a result of some health issues in 2020, a move from Beausejour to Homestead South in Morden allowed them to enjoy a simpler life and be close to family. Although the move was a significant change after 90 years on the family farm, dad adjusted to the new way of life and continued his love of meeting new people. In 2022, a move to Tabor Home provided mom and dad with more care and personal attention.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Homestead South, Home Care, and Tabor Home for all the care provided to dad.
A private family service has been held with interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tabor Home in Morden.

Violet, Gail and Bradley, I have many fond childhood memories of our families gathering together with the Kuczeks at your farm in Beausejour and at our home in Winnipeg. My parents were certainly inspired by your family band! My deepest condolences upon the passing of Joe, always the life of the party! - Posted by: Darlene Karalash (Family Friend) on: Oct 05, 2024
