Very sad to hear of Albert's passing. I worked with Albert at Safeway Henderson Hwy. store. Had lots of good times with Albert. He was a good boss and friend and co- worker. - Posted by: Heiko& Bernice Diddens (co-worker) on: Oct 16, 2024

I remember as a child, maybe grade five or six, he and Lorraine came to Calgary for a visit. I remember him being one of those rare people who seem to be the embodiment of joy. I remember his laugh, he loved to laugh and if I recall, we laughed a lot during that visit. He loved to razz “the sisters”. I remember he baked us orange glazed knots from scratch, to this day it’s one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The world we live in revels in the deception of the finality of death, just one of its tools to break down our faith. But we know different. I refuse to speak of Albert in the past tense. The true reality is, he has simply changed his location. It is a privilege to know such a wonderful godly man. Albert, I love that your struggle is over and that you are now perfect. I love that you now see Our Lord with your own eyes, and what a magnificent sight that must be. - Posted by: Dean Lott (Nephew) on: Oct 15, 2024

Bro. A Kalmbach was a wonderful man and a beautiful soul. He always had a kind word or a humorous story to share with us. He loved to laugh and to make others laugh. He will forever be remembered fondly. Our sincere condolences. Marta &. Kenton Nicholson - Posted by: Marta & Kenton Nicholson (Friends of family) on: Oct 14, 2024
