Howie Blatt passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by his family.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Cathy Dearden, son, David Blatt (Seri), son, Josh Blatt (Karlee Rosenberg), and granddaughters, Hannah and Maya Blatt.
The funeral service will be held at Congregation Shaarey Zedek on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.

Dear Cathy & family: We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Howie. I remember having a chat with him about Fontaine's Store by the 7th Avenue bridge in Lakeside/Central area of Kenora. When we attended King George School, there was that little store that we could walk to and buy penny candy, etc. Fun days. Not sure if you remember us or not, but we were friends of Sally Carlson (nee Eisentraut), and we had dinner at Sally & Phil's when you were there on occasion. Sending heartfelt condolences.
