Annemarie Ulrich, aged 92, was called home to her Heavenly Father peacefully, with family by her side, on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Annemarie is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Hans, children, Peter, Karen (Mike), Viola (Rod), Armin (Joy), son-in-law Robert (Joyce), 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one sister. She was predeceased by her daughter, Doris, and other loved ones.
She was a woman of great faith, devoted to her husband and family.
The family especially thanks Tira and her health care team at Access Transcona, staff and residents at Devonshire House and long-time family friend Wolfgang Tiegs.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. The Interment will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. For those who can’t attend, a livestream will be available. Visit the Cropo Funeral Chapel website for the link.

I first met Anna-Marie when she would come to visit her mother-in-law at Bethania Seniors block. Anna-Marie was a kind and decent lady who always had a smile for everyone. She was generous and she shared her amazing baking with the residents when there was a special occasion. A lady like Anna-Marie isn’t soon forgotten because she was a beautiful soul inside and out.
