Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANGELO CIANFLONE
With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Angelo Cianflone, our beloved partner, father, and nonno, on October 20, 2024, at the age of 66. Survived by Angelo is his partner Shannon, his children, Anthony (Michelle), Amanda, Dean (Kelley), Sonny (Meisha), Cole (Sarah), and his grandchildren Sammy and Mateo. He is predeceased by his brothers Giuseppe (2024), Tommaso (2020), Mario (2016), Pasquale (2010), sister Florence (1997), mother Maria (1993), father Donato (1983), and many nieces and nephews.
Angelo was an honourable and respected peace officer for over 40 years, serving his community with pride and diligence. Outside of work, he was a resilient man with strong family values. He had a tough exterior but a warm heart with an abundance of love.
He cherished his Italian heritage, primarily through his cooking, which was his love language. From the smell of his sauce on Sunday mornings, making sausage or pancetta, brewing homemade wine, to Christmas and Thanksgiving feasts where he went all out.
He was full of love, pride, and firm but honest, family-focused morale, which he passed on to his kin. He was immensely proud of his children, grandchildren, and all their impressive achievements, which he would frequently talk about.
He loved gardening, listening to nostalgic music, tinkering with or cleaning his vehicles, maintaining the backyard, puffing on a big cigar, and going for coffee with his ever-cherished friends. When traveling, he was free, relaxed, and blissful. Most recently, he went to Mexico, where he loved the ocean, admiring the culture, taking walks, boat rides, and taking photos.
We dearly miss and will forever remember him. We have all lost a piece of our hearts, and life will never be the same without him. His children are his monuments, and his legacy lives on. The family extends their thanks for your continued support.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 with condolences at 10:00 a.m. and mass at 11:00 a.m.

So sorry to hear of Angelo's passing. I worked with Ang for 4 years at the Pound. He was always a great co-worker. I always told him he was like my little nephew who liked to stir the pot for fun!! He bought a Corvette and actually asked me if I would like to give it a whirl. Wow, Ang are you kidding me? You trust me with it? Sure he says and outside we go to the parking lot. I jump it and Ang stands there with a smile on his face and of course, I did not have the power to get the clutch in gear!!! He laughed and said too bad ...but nice car eh? He was always a good guy and always had stories about his kids. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad sad time...Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Tanis Goretzki (co-worker) on: Oct 30, 2024

Our deepest condolences to Shannon and the family. Angelo was a very special person who had the knack of making friends with any one of any age. Angelo introduced us all to the “Burbs”, which will continue on with him as the Chief! We’ll miss looking out the window and seeing him motoring around on his lawnmower or covered in snow from blowing out the driveway. In the short number of years we knew Angelo, we had many good discussions covering many topics, he grew to be like a brother. He will be missed but leaves many fond memories. Rest in peace Angelo! - Posted by: Steve Miville and Heather Makinson (Friends ) on: Oct 29, 2024

Hello Amanda, so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear Father. I remember you speaking of him when we worked together and I know from losing my own Father how difficult it is. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Dar. - Posted by: Amanda (Friend) on: Oct 26, 2024
