My Deepest Condolences to the Family of Shirley. I met my dear friend up in Faro, Yukon when my husband had a position with Anvil Range. We instantly clicked and remained friends for over 30 years. After Anvil Range dissolved, Shirley went back to Winnipeg and I went back to Edmonton, but we definitely remained in contact. Shirley spoke of her large family often and I felt that I knew them all, even though I only met Cathy when she was in Edmonton. Back in Faro, we were a close circle of friends (7 of us) Shirley M, Ericka, Siggy, Chanel, Carol, Lori and Shirley T. We would all gather frequently at each other houses for coffee and events. Five of that group (including Shirley) are no longer with us. Well, they say it comes in 3's, earlier this year in January 2024 my cousin - Steve passed away, August 2024 it was my mother - Lydia and now in November 2024 it was Shirley. Each and everyone of them had their health issues. Life is not always easy. And I'm sure Shirley will take Steve and Lydia under her wings. This is the type of person that Shirley was. Shirley was a very special person and she will be missed by all that knew her. Good-bye my friend Shirley. Rest In Peace. Carol - Posted by: Carol Frantzen (Friend) on: Jan 01, 2025

So many precious childhood memories of happy times spent on Polson with my dear friend Cathy and her amazing mom Shirley. You had the biggest heart Shirley and were the best party planner ever. You will be forever missed. May you rest in peace as you join Cathy and John. - Posted by: Donna Jarmuske (Lifetime friend) on: Nov 11, 2024
