James (Jim) (Sr.) passed away suddenly but peacefully at the age of 82 on the evening of Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Parish, 264 Donwood Drive, Winnipeg, MB with reception to follow after the service. A private interment will take place at a later time.

I met Dave's dad more than 13 years ago (July 1, 2011). He could put a smile on my face, make me laugh, was generous and kind. He always made me feel welcome in his home, referring to me as "part of his family" and I will miss him dearly. My heartfelt condolences go out to Dave and his family. Jim was the oldest of us 5 siblings and was full of life. Always upbeat, smiling, responsible and smart. I loved when he sang some Irish tune with his low baritone voice.
