JUDITH D'ARCY DONNELLY

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Judith D'Arcy Donnelly, BA., passed away on October 29, 2024, after a short illness. She was 87.

Daughter of Blythe and Harry Donnelly, Judith was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1937. She worked as a registered nurse at Toronto General Hospital before taking the train to Vancouver and falling in love with the West Coast. There, she married and raised her three children, Ron, David and James.

Some of Judith's fondest family memories were summer vacations with her rambunctious boys at the remote family cabin on Shuswap Lake.

Always a free spirit in search of her "Five Acres and Independence", she later moved to Saltspring Island and then Gibsons, BC, where she developed and grew her passions for painting, reading, gardening and bridge. She was known for her sunny disposition, deep vocabulary and ability to make friends wherever she went.

Judith is survived by her three sons, Ron Kozier (Lena), David Kozier (Gena and grandson Colby), James Kozier (Kristina) and sister, Sandra McKillop.

At her request, there will be no service.
