Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • My sympathy to Shirley in the loss of Dennis. I hope that the good memories bring you comfort and give you strength in coping with his loss. Love Beverley Harland - Posted by: Beverley Harland (friend) on: Nov 17, 2024

  • I have so many wonderful memories of traveling from Florida to visit you and Aunt Shirley in Winnipeg during those summers of my childhood. Whether it was sharing the best Chinese takeout (and lots of it!), getting a "scared straight" tour of the city jail, or having long talks in the basement about sports or the space program, these moments are deeply ingrained in my memory. I can still picture wandering the property with Nikki like it was yesterday. Though I didn’t see you as much as I’d have liked in recent years, I’m grateful for our impromptu reunion during my layover in Winnipeg. Even after all those years, we recognized each other from a distance in the airport parking lot, and it was like no time had passed. Uncle Dennis, you will be deeply missed. - Posted by: Michael McGinn (Nephew) on: Nov 16, 2024
