Peacefully, surrounded by family, Martha Jean Fontaine, passed away on November 7, 2024, the age of 73 years.
Jean leaves to mourn, her sons, Norbert (Jan) and Blaine, her daughters, Susie (Len) and Phyllis, her siblings, Alma, Lorna, Richard (Lorraine), Jerry (Merle), David (Denise) and Garry (Sue), sisters-in-law, Diane (Patrick), Lorna and Ruby (Gerald), brothers-in-law, Ronnie (Peggy) and Wayne (Carol), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Larry, her daughter Lori, her parents, Germaine and Alice, her in-laws, Felix and Elize, her brother John George, her sister-in-law Isabelle, brothers-in law, Harold, Warren and Peter, her goddaughter Nicole, her niece Cindy and nephew Dustin.
Wake services were held at her home in Sagkeeng First Nation, MB from November 10 to 13, 2024. Funeral Service was held at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Interment at a later date.
