ARLIE GEORGE CECIL WALKER

March 20, 1947 - November 17, 2024


It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa, and great-grandpa.

Arlie left us peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and family after a four-year battle with cancer.

He is survived by Evelyn, his wife of 57+ years, their two daughters, Teresa (John Outridge), Pamela (Marc Bourret), two granddaughters, Christiane (Ethan Comeault), Gabrielle (Alex Friesen), two grandsons, Christopher Bourret (Amanda Yenez), Matthew Bourret (Madison Berrigan) and one great-grandson, Niko Comeault.

He is also survived by two sisters, Ruth Orme and Linda (Don Cable), one brother Albert Walker, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his Mom (Mildred) and Dad (Lloyd), sister Millie Griffith, brother-in-law Gordon Griffith, brother-in-law, Jack Orme and niece Laurel Cable (Fry).

A Celebration of Life will be held at Springs Church at 725 Lagimodiere on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation Inc., 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9.
