Pat and Family Ingi is unable to offer his condolences but I do know what he would like to tell you and the family about his good friend Gord. Gord was a great friend who Ingi appreciated over the years. If I asked Ingi to explain what made Gord such a good friend, I know he would tell me the following.. Gord was a loving husband and father, a real family man. Family always came first, before work, baseball, and curling. Gord was a helper to his friends when help was needed. Gord helped Ingi in the last year. One time he took Brian Pascoe and Ingi out at the same time, and he learned how difficult it was to take two Alzheimer's patients out at once!!!! Gord was a hard working man at his profession as well as when he spent many hours working at the curling club. Gord liked to tell a story or two and kept the conversation going! To sum it up Gord, he was just a great guy and Ingi was honored to be his friend, he will be missed! Ingi and Ivan Ingaldson - Posted by: Ivan Ingaldson (Friend) on: Dec 02, 2024

My sympathies to Pat and family. Gord was a terrific person to work with, a fine Officer And a Gentleman. I worked with Gord at several stations and fondly remember the good times we had. Also he was a terrific curling team mate. We curled at the Rouge for many years and he taught me a lot about the game. RIP my friend. - Posted by: Dan Conway (Co-worker,team mate) on: Nov 30, 2024

Gordy Cole, there is a name I remember. We tramped over many of the same ashes over our careers. He was another of the many brothers who helped teach me how to stay alive while fighting fires. He was a good firefighter, a good officer and a nice man. My sincere condolences to his family. Guys like him leave a big hole. - Posted by: Scott Miner (Collegue) on: Nov 30, 2024
