Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Auntie Ed was my most favourite aunt and we got to spend so much time together from her many trips and brief living her. Jut like me she hates grey cloudy days…no sunshine. We spent so many hours chatting about all the B&W movies and all the Actors and Actress. We had ablast doing this, I also loved her and my Mom baking and cooking their many concoctions in the kitchen . Aunti F’s Icelandic cakes and pies were to die for!!! I will remember her with much joy and happiness for I loved her from the bottom of my heart!!! Be free little one💕💕💕💕 - Posted by: Roxanne Carter (Niece) on: Dec 21, 2024

  • Grandma was a steady presence in my life, always full of love for everyone. Like her, I had twins and felt incredibly fortunate to have had Grandma by my side during the ultrasound when we found out. Unlike Grandma, who didn’t learn she was having twins until the day they were born! I remember all the grandkids and great grandkids measuring ourselves against her, eagerly anticipating the day that we became taller than her (we didn't have to wait long). My kids, her great grand children remember the hours she would play with them in her basement, always willing to role play in what ever game they can imagined up! I always enjoyed helping her take the clothes off the clothes line and remember the fresh smell of the laundry once it came inside. I remember the great sense of humour she had and her love for all things from Newfoundland. Most of all, I remember how she loved me so. Hoping she is at peace and with my brother. Love you always Tracey, Jason, Ryann, Emma and Logan. - Posted by: Tracey Kolbauer (Granddaughter ) on: Dec 20, 2024
