She always had a kind and generous comment. While we performed for the residents at Park Manor, she encouraged by praise and appreciation, and requests! She will be missed greatly by myself and daughter (fiddle player). Amy volunteers at PM, and on many days the message was, “I’m going to visit Sheila.” 😉😇❤️ Deep condolences to the family. She was a special lady to us, and will be missed. Troy and Amy - Posted by: Troy Blair (Acquaintance ) on: Dec 28, 2024

Sheila Mary and I were good friends back in school, especially during our teenage years. I spent a lot of time at the Wolfe home, and they treated me like their own. I have so many great memories from those times. My sincerest condolences to Sheila Mary, Catherine, Bernie Jr, and Pat on the loss of your Mom. - Posted by: Patti Ray (St Mars) (Friend of Sheila Mary) on: Dec 28, 2024

Sheila and I were lifelong friends from the fifties, living in Transcona. Our children had play dates together and Sheila and I took our daughters for lessons at RWB. Bernie, Sheila and I were always active with the Liberals and in later years, when Bernie was out of town, I accompanied Sheila to Liberal events - such fun! I visited Sheila at Devonshire House and was amazed at her upbeat spirit, despite health problems. Goodbye and God bless, dear friend! Win Torchia. - Posted by: Win Torchia (Friend) on: Dec 28, 2024

I met Sheila and her husband Bernie in the early 1960s when we were all closely involved in politics. I travelled to Ottawa as a young Liberal with their support. Sheila was a kind, supportive friend, and helped many people, from all walks of life, who needed a helping hand in life. Her love for family and friends was unconditional, a beautiful quality in life. In later years we ran into each other on Yonge Street in Toronto and later in Ottawa, where I now live. My deepest sympathies on behalf of the Wyndels' Family. - Posted by: james/jim wyndels (friend of family many years ago) on: Dec 28, 2024

Bernie, Sorry for the loss of your Mom. Your Mom and Dad were exceptional people who were generous and kind. I had just wondered how your Mom was doing this last November when I was back in Winnipeg. My niece's daughter was talking about Bernie Wolfe School in Transcona and I was telling her about your Mom and Dad, where they lived, and the many things they did for the people in Transcona. May your Mom rest in peace and may you and your family be comforted by the thought that your Mom and Dad are back together. - Posted by: Janice Maslanko (Former resident of Transcona Daughter of Bill and Margaret Maslanko ) on: Dec 28, 2024
