Marilyn use to babysit us back in the day in Churchill, MB. As I got older, in my teens, I babysat Brent, Les and Candy. We moved to Winnipeg in 72, but wasn’t until a number of years later that I met up with Marilyn again. We were so surprised to see each other, we kept in touch through the years. I was so sorry to see she had passed away. She was always smiling and we had good visits, although too brief My condolences to all the family!😔💐 Evelyn - Posted by: Evelyn Boyko (nee: Larsen) (Friend) on: Apr 05, 2025

My condolences to Marilyn’s family, and thoughts are with them through this time. I met Marilyn in 2007 (and worked with her until 2020), and right away, it was easy to see the type of person she was. She was a hard working, straight shooter, who was also selfless and giving with a big heart. You would have never known Marilyn’s age by the way she managed her store, and outworked everyone around her. I loved bantering with her over lunch, or in a meeting, as I always knew what was coming and she always made me laugh. She was so good to my family, and I was blessed to have her be a big part of my life. - Posted by: Brett Toyne (Friend) on: Jan 21, 2025
