MARC TETREAULT

Unexpectedly, on December 21, 2024, only seven days after his 74th birthday, Marc was called to join his son Reed and his parents, Tommy and Lucette.

Marc leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Alison, her husband Duncan and daughters, Anelyn and Emrynn, Jocelyn, Reed’s daughter Rhyanne, sisters, Michelle Prieur (Eugene), Pauline Boisselle, his nephews and niece, cousins and many friends.

Marc was an avid sports fan. He spent many a day watching and coaching his children in their sports. His favourite hockey team was Montreal Canadiens. He loved cars which was evident in the ones he amassed over the years; from his dad’s Studebaker, his Cougar, his GMC Jimmy, etc. He loved spending time at the lake from summers at Toniata to Devils Gap and finally to the family cottage on Treaty Island. Although he was unable to be at the cottage over the last few years he was always kept updated with pictures, etc.

Marc loved his two dogs, Judd (my son, my son) and Charlie as well as his grand-dog Winston. He also enjoyed the weekly visits from the therapy dog at Simkin Centre.

He cherished his visits with his granddaughters. There was always a huge grin when they walked in the door.

The family would like to thank his friends for being there for him over the years. Your long-standing friendship and support was truly valued by him.

Thank you to the staff on Weinberg 3 at the Simkin Centre for your compassion and support providing Marc with the quality of life as special as possible. He felt at home there.

If you wish, donations can be made to the MS Society, the Humane Society or the Simkin Centre.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
