MILTON CRAIG BRANDSON

May 29, 1956 – January 8, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Milt, surrounded by his family. He was 68.

Milt will be remembered by his wife of 34 years, Laureen, sons Matthew (Haley) and Scott (Samantha), grandson James, his sister Susan (Terry), and many extended family members. Milt was born and raised in Arborg, MB, one of four children to Mattias and Agnes Brandson. He was predeceased by his mother and father, brother Gilbert, and sister Sandra.

Milt began his career with The Hudson Bay Co., building stores and employee housing. It was there, alongside his dad, that he developed the skills and passion needed to embark on his carpentry career as a general contractor. Through his friendly demeanor and excellent workmanship, many of his customers became lifelong clients and friends.

He will be remembered as a loving husband and father, someone always willing to help, the first to volunteer for his sons' school and sporting activities, and never turning down a chance to chat.

A funeral service celebrating Milt's life will be held at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie Dr., on Saturday, January 18 at 2:00 p.m. Family internment at a later date.
