Merv was my Geography teacher in 1976. A very special man who left a great impression on me as a young person with lessons that followed into my adult years. He was an important influence and moral compass for me personally. Thank you Mr. Prime. - Posted by: Dale Jameson (Former student) on: Feb 04, 2025

I have known Merv since 1977 when he was my geography teacher at Stonewall Collegiate. I will always remember how he would emulate Pele in class. I met him again in 2005 when he contacted my company to repair his computer. Then he realized that I was a former student of his. We then visited regularly with him even going to my 3 children’s sporting events. He is a great man who will be sorely missed. - Posted by: Ronald Drysdale (Friend and former student) on: Jan 18, 2025

Mr Prime was a wonderful outgoing teacher, even years after I saw him at football with my son and we had some good laughs. RIP - Posted by: Colleen Riddoch (Past student) on: Jan 18, 2025
