ARNOLD LYLE MENAAR
Arnold Lyle Menaar, 76, of Winnipeg, MB, is dancing with Jesus after he passed away on January 26, 2025.
Arnold was born in Winnipeg on April 18, 1948, to Samuel and Audrey. He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Carolyn, his kids, Kimberley (Tom), Robin (Carol), Tamara, Amanda (Trevor) and seven grandchildren, his pride and joy, Ethan, Emma, Joey, Sam, Benjamin, Everett and Alexander along with his best friend, Allen Hillsden.
A man of strong faith and conviction, he was a lifelong teacher and caregiver to anyone who knew and loved him. Forever an example to his family and friends, he served in his church, and his community and made everyone smile with his groaner Dad jokes and his love for God.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Church of The Rock, Bronx Park at 570 Sharron Bay S. in Winnipeg with Pastor Graham Hunt officiating, followed by a time of refreshments and fellowship.

So sorry, I did not make the next effort to come out to visit Arnold before his passing. It was talked about so often and we ended up doing another trip to visit the old country or to ride a steam train. Love the old trains from my past of coming to Manitoba to visit my Dad's family. I have one very fond memory of Arnold coming to Vancouver and visiting our Grandma with so much play time together. I wanted to have a visit with Arnold to talk about his Dad and my Dad. It is my loss to have not made the trip back to visit as I build my knowledge of our family of the old days. I am researching on a weekly basis history of Lenore family farm and Collins Centre, New York (birthplace of our grandparents God Bless the Menaar family - Posted by: Wayne Jefferson (Menaar) (Cousin) on: Feb 24, 2025
