JJudith Mae McCoy (Iverson/Keeler) 72, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, ON, with her loving husband and children by her side.
Judith was born September 11, 1952, in Winnipeg, MB, to William (Bill) and Cora Iverson. She was a kind and compassionate person who always went out of her way to help others; traits she instilled in her children.
She was especially proud of her grandchildren. She would often say that her favourite title was that of “Nana.”
Judith is survived by her husband, Brian Thomas McCoy; children, Michael (Stacie) Keeler, Daniel (Kate Turner) Keeler, and Heather (Jono) Irwin; grandchildren, Mya, Coen, Shelby, Kaleb, Travis, and Everett; siblings, Grant (Marlene) Iverson, Linda (Bob) Reed, Pam (Dave) Riley, Cindy (Norm) Brandson; and special family friend, Isaac Stromness. She was predeceased by her parents, William (Bill) and Cora Iverson, as well as her brothers, Jim and Frank (“Skip”) Iverson.
The family will be gathering privately at a later date to celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation in her memory.
While Judith will be greatly missed, her legacy of love will live on through all that knew her.
