With family at her side, Dorothy gently slipped away from us and into the loving arms of our Lord in the evening of January 20, 2025, at the age of 68 years.
You may remember Dorothy from the places she loved - ImagineAbility (formerly Versatech and Arc Industries), Special Olympics Bowling, Gloria Dei Church, Camps with Meaning (Koinonia and Moose Lake), Faith and Light and Baby Boomer Café.
We, the family, remember Dorothy as being part of our everyday lives - smiling, happy, always wanting to help and be part of everything. Left to cherish her memory are Lillian (sister) and Art Tendies, and numerous cousins. Previously deceased are her parents, Johanna and Fred Brach.
Thank you to the staff at West Park Manor who cared for Dorothy for nearly seven years, and the compassion she received there.
Burial has taken place at Waldersee Cemetary, Manitoba. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 8, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 637 Buckingham Rd., Winnipeg.
