RANDY JAMES EWEN

Randy James Ewen was born September 7, 1948, Brandon, MB. He passed away February 6, 2025, Niagara Falls, ON.

Randy met his true love, Diane Elizabeth (Smith), in 1968 when he was an officer cadet at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, ON and Diane was attending Queen's University. They married in Neepawa during Christmas break on December 29, 1969.

After Randy's graduation from RMC in 1970 (College Number 8497), Randy and Diane spent their lives and careers in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. Randy served with honour in the Royal Canadian Navy and with distinction in civilian life as a human resources manager and consultant. Among the highlights of their adventures together, Randy and Diane enjoyed many vacation trips to Hawaii, the South Pacific, and the Caribbean. Travelling to warm climes was a welcome relief from Alberta winters.

Randy was predeceased by his loving parents Ferlye (Chesney) Ewen (1997) and James George Ewen (2003). He was a kind uncle to his nieces and nephews and a loyal friend to many.

Diane and Randy were devoted to each other-soulmates and dearest friends. Diane will cherish his memory forever. Interment will be in Lundy's Lane Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
