Peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2025, Ronald Joseph Fontaine passed away at the age of 74 years.
Ron is survived by his son Lynden Jonski; his brothers and sisters, Linda, Lillian, Patsy, Glen, Marie, Larry and Milli; stepchildren, Kenny (Sara), Stan (Jacquie), Lily, Henry (Angie) and Theresa (Wade); as well as his step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis Paul Fontaine, Ida (nee Henderson), his wife Mimi and sister Marlene.
The family would like to thank all who cared for Ron in his last days. We truly appreciate you all! Rest in peace Ron!
Wake services will be held at St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church Hall, begins Wednesday, February 19 to Friday, February 21, 2025. Funeral Service will follow in the Church, on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at a later date.

My condolences to Ron's Family. He was a good man and I enjoyed working for him when he was on council. We shared a lot of laughs and enjoyed travelling with him on the many trips we took as his duties with council. He will be missed.
