JERRY HOOLEY
Jerry Hooley, loving husband and dear brother, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2025 at the age of 78.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Bonnie Hooley; sister Debby Gibson (Murray); sisters-in-law, Audrey Porayko, Betty Marchessault, Kathy Paul (Robert) and Darlene Schacht (Michael).
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Anna Hooley; his father and mother-in-law, Andrew and Lenore Gauthier; step-brother George Porayko; brother-in-law Wayne Marchessault; in-laws, Paul and Gloria Mieyette, and Val and Dallas Turner.
Raised in Komarno, Manitoba, Jerry was a postal worker for most of his life. His curious mind and keen intellect surrounded him with books and a variety of interesting hobbies. Jerry was a gentle person and his true joy came from giving himself freely to the service of God, his family and others.
The memorial service will be held at Faith Bible Church, 600 Minto St. Winnipeg on Wednesday, February 26th at 2:00 p.m.
Flowers are gratefully declined.
