Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Will's open and friendly nature made it easy to work and spend time with him. He always helped and gave feedback to resolve issues and make improvements. Many discussions during and after work with him inspired me. He will be missed by many. To Will's family, my condolences and deepest sympathies at this difficult time. • Will has been a good friend of mine from MBLL for many years. He was a wealth of knowledge and could have an intelligent conversation about any topic. I am a car guy and he was the only person I talked to that actually understood what I was talking about when talking about cars. Every training course I went on I would sit next to Will even the most recent one a couple of weeks ago. He liked to have a good meal and many times we would go out for lunch when on training courses etc. We also sampled some of Manitoba's best burgers during Le burger week. For several years we would also go to Urban Tactical during "5.11 Days" an annual sale, we both liked the clothes they sold especially the tactical pants with lots of pockets. Will loved having extra pocket space. It was a complete shock to hear of his passing. He was universally liked at work and always had a smile and was great friends with so many people. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, he was an amazing human being and will be truly missed by so many people but never forgotten. -Keith Advice - Posted by: Keith Advice (Friend and coworker) on: Feb 24, 2025

  • Will will be missed by everyone at MBLL, his recent passing has had a major impact at the office and myself personally. Will was a great teacher, a mentor, a scholar and a joyful person (less Monday mornings, lol). Will taught me everything I know in my current position and I am forever grateful to have had such a great patient teacher. I will miss the banter between the English and French we had, the venting and rabbit holes we would go down. My sincere condolences to the family and everyone that knew him. • We were so sorry to hear about William’s passing. I have such fond memories of the lovely, mischievous boy he was at 13, when I visited from England. All that black curly hair and what a sense of humour!!!! Condolences from Calgary. - Posted by: Stephanie Darke (Cousin) on: Feb 22, 2025
