Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTRACEY MERRILL STANGE
With sadness we share the sudden passing of Tracey Stange.
Tracey grew up in St. Norbert, MB and attended local schools where she met many lifelong friends. Tracey retired from Finance at Health Sciences Centre and at the time of her death was working for Comforts of Care in Winnipeg. She was very empathetic and attuned to people's vulnerabilities and needs. She was a neat freak and kept a spotless house. Tracey always had a great love for dogs and volunteered with the Humane Society whenever she could.
Tracey was predeceased by her parents, Merrill and Bernard Stange and her brother Mark Stange. She was a devoted sister and daughter to her family and supported them through their entire life as a wonderful caregiver, especially her mom in later days. Tracey is survived by aunties, Mary Hamilton and Evelyn Stange and cousins, Craig (Linda) Henderson and Vikki (Campbell) Henderson and families, partner Mike Rayner, many friends and co-workers.
It was Tracey's wish that no service was to be held.

I met Tracy at Goldenlinks Lodge when her mom was there. We had the same sense of humor. She started coming to me for her hair shortly after. I always enjoyed seeing her name in the appointment book because I knew it would be a good day. We always laughed whenever we were together . I had just sent her a text to see if everything was ok as I hadn’t seen her since Christmas. I am so saddened and shocked to see her obituary . RIP Tracy. You were a decent and kind human and I will miss you tremendously. 😢 - Posted by: Maria (Hairstylist) on: Mar 03, 2025

Tracey Stange was a wonderful Caregiver and Employee here at Comforts of Home - Care. She loved to participate in work events, and the Office staff was always happy to see her come by the Office. Her warm smile was contagious. She loved to chat and her kindness and empathy was evident not only by her Clients, but also her co-workers. She will truly be missed here at Comforts of Home - Care. - Posted by: Shan Zacharias (Professional - Comforts of Home - Care) on: Mar 03, 2025

I met Tracey through my friendship with her mom, Merrill. Tracey was certainly the apple of her mother's eye, and having met Tracey a number of times, I can certainly see why. I'm so sorry for her passing. - Posted by: Alice Foster (Friend of Tracey's Mom) on: Mar 02, 2025

Tracey and I did coffee every morning at the Sals for years-she worked in Finance and I in payroll. She spoke fondly of her family and Mikes also. Rest in peace, Tracey...til we meet again. Edna - Posted by: edna edwards (friend from HSC) on: Mar 01, 2025

Tracey was a dear friend and I will miss our Saturday morning chats on the phone (as she would call “ Old School”) Tracey and I spent our early years after high school going to see many live bands in Winnipeg since we both had a love of Rock Music and dancing. Later we reconnected in 2019 and it felt like we had never lost touch. I will miss her generous nature and quirky remarks which could always make me laugh. Goodbye my sweet friend. - Posted by: Teresa (Friend) on: Mar 01, 2025
