It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elaine Woodbridge, beloved mother, at the age of 74.
Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and moving to Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 8, Elaine spent her career teaching hundreds of elementary students in the St. Boniface and St. Vital School Divisions. A loving sister and mother, fond of gardening and reading, and the owner of many dogs and cats, she is survived by her son Adam Woodbridge of Okotoks, AB, her sister Nancy Keys of McKinney, TX, and her brother William Keys (Deborah) of Dallas, TX. She was predeceased by her parents William Keys and Marion Keys, and by her son Matthew Woodbridge.
Elaine spent her final few years at Seasons retirement home in High River, AB, and a special thanks goes to them for their care and support of her.

I am so sorry and sad to hear about Elaine's passing. She was a great friend. At work, helping daily to enjoy the day with her sense of humor. She was a dedicated teacher, also teaching 2 of my children who consider her one of their favorites. She was an animal lover and we spent many times walking our dogs and chatting. She was also a very strong and resilient woman who was dedicated to her boys. I will miss her. Condolences to her family. - Posted by: Linda Irvine (Friend and colleague) on: Mar 29, 2025

I am so sorry to hear that Elaine has passed away. She taught Grade 1 to both my daughter and older son at Hastings School in St. Vital. I enjoyed volunteering in her classroom. Adam, Nancy and Bill I worked side by side with your Mom/sister during her first two years of teaching. We became very good friends. When we first got our children we got together many times. I moved across Canada still keeping in touch. What an amazing lady. Rest in piece Elaine you will always be in my heart. Love June ❤️ - Posted by: June MacLean (Friend) on: Mar 04, 2025
