I recall one of Roland’s visits to Atikokan in the 1980s. My mom Muriel McMullen was very happy to see him, and spoke of that visit often before she passed away in 2017. Sending our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Sincerely, Bella, Ed & Davin Ojala - Posted by: Bella Ojala (Daughter to Roland’s cousin Muriel) on: Mar 05, 2025

Sending condolences from the Prokopchuk’s of Atikokan. My mother Madge (nee Coulombe) passed away in December of 2023, but I remember her talking about her family with love and kindness. Respectfully, Susan Prokopchuk - Posted by: Susan Prokopchuk (Cousin to my mother) on: Mar 05, 2025

To Roland's family, our sincerest condolences and prayers. I remember Roland would come down to visit his mom (Aunt Germaine) in Ste Rose every once in a while. On one of these visits, I do remember how much he talked about his time visiting us when we lived in Crane River many moons ago. He always enjoyed talking to my dad (Albert) about it, especially about the horses and just hanging out with my brother Lionel. When he spoke about this, you could tell how much he enjoyed his time there It was a good memory for him. We are thankful that this happy memory among many others he has had left an imprint on his heart. Cherish the happiness in memories, Debra, Brent, Chloe, Aiden Heinrichs - Posted by: Debra Heinrichs (Cousin) on: Mar 03, 2025
