Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Our deepest Condolences to The Adams family, my memories of Joel go back many years ago, when we met up with Joel in Parksville BC I wanted Joel to meet “ Gayphen’s children “ and when we made time to meet, Joel was happy to share stories with them over a beautiful day on the boardwalk in Parksville BC. I will always cherish this memory for the time he spent with us. I’d like to think Gayphen and Joel are together catching up. Many blessings, The Birch Family *( Meadows)*❤️ - Posted by: Teresa Birch (Old friends from many years ago) on: Apr 11, 2025

  • Godspeed Joel...in 4 4 time - Posted by: Glenn Head (Friend/fellow musician) on: Mar 02, 2025

  • I never had the opportunity to get to know Joel as well as I would have liked as he lived away from Winnipeg for so many years. I do recall that as a young man Joel was very much into music and loved to play the drums. Of the 29 of us cousins he struck me as the one who was a truly free spirit. I know he very much missed his sister Brenda and it's comforting to know that Neil,Brenda, Terry and Joel are now together. My sincere condolences to Sue, Ken and family. My heartfelt sympathy is with you at this sad time. Donna and Family (Cousin to Joel) - Posted by: Donna Martin (Cousin) on: Mar 02, 2025

  • I knew Joel when I was very young and we played together in a band. he was an excellent drummer and musician and always picked the coolest songs for me to sing. I was very impressed with how funny he was in his smart and sarcastic way. I spent time with Joel last when we both lived in Vancouver in the nineties. I will always remember him so fondly and treasure our years together as friends. my condolences to his sister and the family and all his friends. sending love, Pamela. - Posted by: Pamela Martin (musician friend and colleague) on: Mar 01, 2025
