With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Denis Wilfrid Joseph Dupuis, 72, of Delta, BC, on January 4, 2025, at Surrey Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born December 11, 1952, in Morris, Manitoba, Denis was the son of Aime and Jeannine Dupuis. He married Joan Fosty on May 19, 1973, and together they raised two sons, Shawn and Chad.
Denis worked as a welder at Flyer Industries before moving to Delta, where he had a rewarding career with the Delta School District. He enjoyed hunting for treasures at garage sales, collecting unique items, gardening, and sharing his love of baking with family and friends. Denis was also a devoted fan of classic Westerns, especially Gunsmoke and Bonanza.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Shawn (Renee) and Chad (Jennifer); grandchildren, Anna, Emma, Kyan, Rhys, and Quinn; siblings, Donald, Luc, and Lise; and his ex-wife Joan. He was predeceased by his parents.
A celebration of Denis's life was held in Delta on February 8. He will be deeply missed, cherished for his kindness, laughter, and love for his family.

My sincere condolences to His Family Shawn and Chad & there Family, Luc. Donald & there Family, Sister Lise. I Have known Denis for many years when he lived in St. Jean Baptiste and in Winnipeg and visited him in Delta in the Winters 2023 & 2024. We share good memories of our past years. I would like to pass along my sincere condolences to Joan, Donald and the rest of the Dupuis family. I grew up with Denis and remember many good times that we had, especially tinkering on motorcycles. I also remember when Denis was dating Joan and the many trips that he took to Vita.
