Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Ray and I grew up together. He was my best friend, protector, and teacher. When my family moved to Winnipeg from abroad he would walk me to school until I learned the route. Our school was across from St. Mary’s Cathedral downtown Winnipeg. As he lived on Spence and I on Furby it was quite the hike for a 10 year old. His father was my father. He and Ray would take me fishing. So many memories ice fishing. As we got older we lost track of each other through family moves. Later, he was my best man at my wedding. Shortly thereafter, we then lost track for good. I had not seen Ray in many many years. I am saddened by his passing and send my profound condolences to his family. - Posted by: Geoffrey Johnson (Friend) on: May 17, 2025

  • Raymond was born three months before I was. We spent a lot of time together when we were little. He always felt like a brother to me. It is so sad that he had to battle cancer that has taken many of our family members. My condolences to his children, grandchildren and all the people who loved him! 😢cousin Joanne - Posted by: Joanne McFaddin/Castille (Cousin) on: Mar 08, 2025
